RESULTS

After developing several different prototypes, we were unsuccessful with heating the pan to a hot enough temperature to cook on. One of our biggest mistakes was heating the Erythritol above its much above its melting point and therefore frying the diodes that were glued underneath our frying pan. For future endeavors, we think it is best to keep the erythritol right at melting point temperature and then pour into pot.
Throughout this process, we learned some difficult lessons regarding patience and expectations but overall, we were happy with our design and progress.

Cooking the pasta in the solar cooker, we created, was both a success and failure. For the first time cooking with solar, many lessons were learned and many questions left to be answered. But that is all about the design process.

WE TRY TO FRY
